BCE Safety has partnered with Alberta Distance Learning Center (ADLC), to deliver our upstream oil & gas training to high schools. The curriculum is part of the trades program and is accredited toward the student’s high school diploma. Program graduates are preferentially hired by the industry.
Our simulation-based training is well suited to vocational rehabilitation applications. Our work through ADLC targets Native Indian youth who are at high risk of dropping out of high school and remaining underemployed. Students receive high school accreditation and have a much higher rate of graduation and are preferentially hired by service rig companies.

BCE Safety staff developed an interactive program to mitigate the risk of injuries while separating meat from cattle neck bones, a task considered to be the highest risk in the industry.

BCE Safety staff developed a game to incentivize behavior change in people recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This project was developed in collaboration with a leading endocrinologist at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.

BCE Safety staff developed a management game, called “Unstoppable” which applied advanced algorithms to assess management of “soft skills”. The game has been used on its own and in a “blended learning” environment to enhance management professional development programs.
